MIA...

Hi All,
Well, I have a blog brewing, but it's been a crazy week! I'm happy to announce that we have had the ALL clear for about a week now! I've never been so happy for good health. We are in our second round of company in 3 days! It's fun! I actually love the fact that we have the room to play hosts/hostesses. I think it teaches our kids great lessons about life...sharing...putting others before yourself...and oh, the stories we have from our many visitors!!! :)
I mainly wanted to stop by really quickly to tell you all about a giveaway on a blog that has been an inspiration to me for my own blogging. Sarah has a great perspective on life...and some wonderful humor to go along with it. I'm pretty sure it would be a bad idea if she and I ever made it to the same room, but nonetheless I LOVE her blog. AND she's hosting a GREAT Valentines' Day Giveaway...yep, and it involves chocolate...who could ask for anything more...chocolate, a day about love...and FREE! :) I haven't gotten all fancy with my blogging, but here's a simple link to her blog. Drop by. I'm pretty sure you'll become a regular visitor...just like me! http://grshortstop.blogspot.com.
Well, I'm off. I've enjoyed the day off...well, mainly. We don't have school this week due to a counseling conference held at our church/school. It comes at a great time, as we all need a break from winter...especially now that the snow has melted and all that is left...YUCKY, brown, dead stuff...and LOTS, I mean LOTS of mud. Remember we have cows y'all, so I'm not really sure it's all just MUD :) !!!
I'll be back later...

  1. Laughing - at the mud and cow mixture! I bet my boys would have a ball playing on your farm!

I'm so glad that you started blogging - sharing your thoughts! As time passes, and you have an archive full of thoughts and moments and days to look back on, you'll have a richer, fuller memory of these days as a young Momma. I know I do.

And, mostly - to see how God has shaped and molded and grown me as a person as I process my thoughts through writing them down. I love how I can see His grace throughout these tedious, and wonderfully tiring years.

SO glad to be getting to know you better!
